In Monday's league outing, the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY), by a count of 81-65.

The Flames (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 6 Erie County II outing with a 5-7 record.

The Trojans now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Kenmore East for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. West Seneca East will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Olmsted (Buffalo, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.
