In Monday's non-league outing, the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (North Wildwood, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ), by a margin of 39-35.
The Crusaders (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ). The Villagers go into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Our Lady of Mercy Academy held off Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ), 66-24, in a non-league outing.
The Braves now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ocean City for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 25. Absegami will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 40-33 non-league win over Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 11-2.
