The Apollo Ridge Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Jeannette Jayhawks to 26 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shady Side Academy for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Thursday, January 26. Apollo Ridge will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-45 non-league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-1.
The Jayhawks now hold a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Geibel Catholic for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 25. Jeannette will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Gators record now stands at 8-8.
