The Arcola Purple Riders basketball team (Arcola, IL), was overwhelmed 53-23 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans (Kansas, IL)

The Titans now possess a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland for a Lincoln Prairie battle on Thursday, January 26. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] will confront a Pirates team coming off a 61-20 league loss to Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 13-10.

The Purple Riders (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL). The Conquering Riders come into the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Arthur-Okaw Christian trounced Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 35-19, in a league battle.
