Kansas High School Basketball - Bucklin edges Ashland

The Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), 40-33 in Monday's non-league test.

The Red Aces (10-2) will now prepare for their test against South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, South Gray got by Satanta (Satanta, KS), 74-14, in a non-league test.

The Blue Jays now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Pawnee Heights for a Southern Plains-Iroquois test on Tuesday, January 31. Ashland will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 40-32 non-league loss to Meade (Meade, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-8.
