In Monday's league outing, the Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL), by a count of 63-59.
The Bulldogs (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Sweet Water was tipped by Choctaw County (Butler, AL), 61-16, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to University Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 24. Washington County will clash with a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 46-33 league win over Johnson (Thomaston, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 14-3.
