Unity Eagles (Balsam Lake, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Unity upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Siren (Siren, WI) to play the Dragons in a Lakeland - West bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Siren won 56-27 in their recent league bout against Turtle Lake (Turtle Lake, WI)

Next up, the Comets play the Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cameron will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Beavers come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 55-29 league win over Spooner (Spooner, WI).
