Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC), 56-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wilson Christian Academy upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The host Southside Christian (Clayton, NC) to play the Warriors in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Southside Christian lost 34-24 in their recent league bout against Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cape Fear Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 33-25 league win over Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC).
