The Columbiana Clippers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Wellsville Tigers to 21 in the Clippers league victory on Monday.
The Clippers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Christian for a Eastern Ohio contest on Thursday, January 26. Columbiana will battle a Eagles team coming off a 46-33 league loss to David Anderson (Lisbon, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-8.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against United (Hanoverton, OH). The Golden Eagles come into the Eastern Ohio contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, United triumphed over Southern (Salineville, OH), 50-42, in a league contest.
