The DeKalb Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Stanberry Bulldogs to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast Nodaway for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. DeKalb will meet a Blue Jays team coming off a 44-13 non-league win over Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Blue Jays record now stands at 8-2.
The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Maysville was nudged by Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO), 44-13, in a non-league contest.
