Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY), 63-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Depew upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host East Aurora (East Aurora, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a Section 6 Erie County III bout on Monday, January 30. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 9-3. East Aurora won 64-19 in their recent league bout against Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Lake Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Griffins come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 40-34 non-league win over Olean (Olean, NY).
