Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA), 56-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Farrell upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Steelers host Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA) to play the Sailors in a District 10 Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 26. The Sailors come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Lakeview won 53-11 in their recent league bout against Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Reynolds will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 55-53 non-league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA).
