Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ), 70-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lenape Valley upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Newton (Newton, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Newton won 47-11 in their recent non-league bout against Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Hopatcong will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Devils come into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Vernon (Vernon, NJ).
