The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) basketball nipped the host LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 59-57 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (20-6) will now prepare for their test against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Bombers go into the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Argenta-Oreana was tipped by Arcola (Arcola, IL), 61-12, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a Heart Of Illinois test on Thursday, January 26. LeRoy will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 62-52 league loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 14-8.
