Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA), 52-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Madera South upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Stallions host Hoover (Fresno, CA) to play the Patriots in a County/Metro bout on Thursday, January 26. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Hoover lost 46-41 in their recent league bout against Fresno (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA) in a County/Metro bout, on Thursday, January 26. Sanger West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 73-26 league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA).
