Ohio High School Basketball - Marietta topples Warren

In Monday's league outing, the Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) basketball squad beat the visiting Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH), by a count of 57-45.

The Tigers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks come into the Twin State challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Point Pleasant was dropped by Fort Frye (Beverly, OH), 61-12, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Warriors play the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) in a Twin State challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 61-12 league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV).
