The Pacelli Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Pittsville Panthers to 27 in the Cardinals league victory on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Edwards for a Central Wisconsin - South contest on Tuesday, January 24. Pacelli will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 65-19 league loss to Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 0-12.

The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rosholt (Rosholt, WI). The Hornets come into the Central Wisconsin - South contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Rosholt prevailed over Manawa (Manawa, WI), 65-43, in a non-league contest.
