Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 67-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodbine upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Fremont-Mills won 59-32 in their recent non-league bout against Bedford (Bedford, IA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats (Glidden, IA) in a Rolling Hills bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Paton-Churdan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 63-40 non-league loss to Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA).
