Georgia High School Basketball - Tiftarea Academy winner over Westwood

The Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA) basketball felled the visiting Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA), 44-35 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA). The Eagles go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Terrell Academy was beaten by Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA), 45-27, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Georgia Christian for a GIAA AA Region 3 test on Friday, January 27. Westwood will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 62-44 league loss to Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Generals record now stands at 11-5.
