The Van Buren Crusaders basketball team (Van Buren, ME), was overwhelmed 78-8 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME)

The Pioneers now possess a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a D North battle on Wednesday, January 25. Wisdom will battle a Hornets team coming off a 49-19 league loss to East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 4-7.

The Crusaders (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Washburn (Washburn, ME). The Beavers come into the D North battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Washburn was overwhelmed by Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 56-36, in a non-league battle.
