Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) and the host Manning Monarchs (Manning, SC), saw Waccamaw's basketball squad hold off Manning by a tally of 27-24.
With the victory, Waccamaw improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, SC) to confront the Bulldogs in a challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Manning will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
