The Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) basketball nipped the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 51-50 in Monday's league test.
The Mustangs (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers go into the test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Grant got by Chavez (San Fernando, CA), 71-20, in a league test.
The Parrots now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Verdugo Hills for a test on Wednesday, January 25. Poly will encounter a Dons squad coming off a 59-39 league loss to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Dons record now stands at 5-7.
