The Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA), 52-40 in Monday's league test.
The Haybalers (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Cowboys go into the test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Salinas notched a victory over Carmel (Carmel, CA), 60-35, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Palma for a battle on Wednesday, January 25. Everett Alvarez will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 58-33 league win over Alisal (Salinas, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 11-5.
