Rappahannock County (Washington, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA), 57-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rappahannock County upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The travel to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Luray will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 41-30 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
