Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS) fans were pleased Monday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS), 5-0 in a league test.

The Volunteers now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a test on Thursday, January 26. Starkville Academy will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Magnolia Heights drops to 6-11 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Washington (Greenville, MS) to meet the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, January 30. The Generals come into the test with a record of 5-4.
