Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), saw Albemarle's basketball squad wallop Louisa County by a count of 76-45.

With the victory, Albemarle upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Black Knights in a Jefferson challenge on Friday, January 26. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Charlottesville won 70-42 in their recent league challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Louisa County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 68-28 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
