The Mankato West Scarlets basketball team scored 110 points and restricted the visiting Albert Lea Tigers to 46 in the Scarlets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Scarlets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owatonna for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Mankato West will battle a Huskies team coming off a 78-61 league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 10-5.

The Tigers (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, New Prague was routed by St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 65-51, in a non-league contest.
