The Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL), 80-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Valley Cubs (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Talladega (Talladega, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Talladega was crushed by Handley (Roanoke, AL), 53-37, in a league outing.
The Golden Bears now hold a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a 5A Area 12 outing on Friday, January 26. Lincoln will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 62-41 non-league loss to Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-18.
