Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), 55-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Yale (Yale, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Yale won 57-55 in their recent league bout against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI)

Next up, the Muskrats play the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Friday, January 26. Algonac will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 56-46 league win over Richmond (Richmond, MI).
