The Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 21 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 match on Friday, January 26. Shady Side Academy will meet a Vikings team coming off a 72-56 non-league loss to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Apollo Ridge moves to 2-15 on the year. The Vikings host Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA) to meet the Rams in a WPIAL 3A 3 match on Friday, January 26. The Rams enter the match with a record of 2-13. Ligonier Valley lost 68-50 in their recent league match against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA)
