Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Bergan upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Bishop Neumann won 39-18 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Stars come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 43-26 non-league loss to Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE).
