Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting The Heights (Potomac, MD), 81-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Carroll upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Lions host Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Our Lady of Good Counsel lost 87-28 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)

Next up, the clash with the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. The Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
