The Ashland Arrows basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers to 31 in the Arrows league triumph on Tuesday.
The Arrows now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a Ohio Cardinal contest on Friday, January 26. Ashland will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 67-38 league win over Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 16-1.
The Quakers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Rams enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Madison Comprehensive was routed by Lexington (Lexington, OH), 67-38, in a league contest.
