The Auburndale Apaches basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Newman Fighting Cardinals to 46 in the Apaches league triumph on Tuesday.

The Apaches now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Assumption for a Marawood - South contest on Tuesday, January 30. Auburndale will battle a Royals team coming off a 60-44 league loss to Stratford (Stratford, WI). The Royals record now stands at 6-9.

The Fighting Cardinals (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Merrill was routed by Wausau West (Wausau, WI), 84-62, in a league contest.
