Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 77-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Bartlett upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Hawks host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to play the Maroons in a Upstate Eight bout on Friday, January 26. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Elgin won 74-43 in their recent league bout against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

Next up, the Tomcats play the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Aurora East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 64-59 league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).
