Alabama High School Basketball - Long can't hold off Barbour County

The Barbour County Jaguars basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Long Rebels to 65 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abbeville for a 2A Area 3 contest on Friday, January 26.

The Rebels (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ariton (Ariton, AL). The Purple Cats enter the 2A Area 3 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Ariton nudged Dale County (Midland City, AL), 63-45, in a non-league contest.
