With the victory, Memorial Lutheran upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The host Family Christian (Houston, TX) to play the Warriors in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Family Christian lost 49-20 in their recent league bout against Divine Savior Academy - Sienna (Missouri City, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Living Stones Christian Lions (Alvin, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Baytown Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 63-22 league loss to Brazosport Christian (Lake Jackson, TX).
