The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers basketball team (Joliet, IL), was overwhelmed 67-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL)
The Redwings now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Friday, January 26. Benet Academy will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 44-38 league loss to Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 9-15.
The Hilltoppers (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Marian Catholic trounced St. Patrick (Chicago, IL), 52-46, in a league battle.
