The Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) basketball nipped the host Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN), 63-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Red Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Waconia got by Orono (Long Lake, MN), 87-73, in a league test.
The Storm now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis Park for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Chanhassen will encounter a Orioles squad coming off a 65-51 non-league win over New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 7-8.
