In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL) basketball squad beat the host Berry Wildcats (Berry, AL), by a margin of 53-40.
The Tigers (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Dora (Dora, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Area 9 outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Dora was beaten by Fultondale (Birmingham, AL), 60-29, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Holy Spirit Catholic for a 1A Area 9 match on Thursday, January 25. Berry will meet a Saints team coming off a 63-60 league win over Pickens County (Reform, AL). The Saints record now stands at 10-9.
