California High School Basketball - Big Valley can't hold off Bethel Christian

The Bethel Christian basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Big Valley Cardinals to 38 in the league victory on Tuesday.

The now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayfork for a Evergreen contest on Thursday, January 25. Bethel Christian will battle a Timberjacks team coming off a 51-31 league win over Happy Camp (Happy Camp, CA). The Timberjacks record now stands at 13-6.

The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Butte Valley (Dorris, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Evergreen contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Butte Valley edged Tulelake (Tulelake, CA), 60-50, in a league contest.
