With the win, Big Bay de Noc upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Black Bears host Beaver Island (Beaver Island, MI) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Beaver Island lost 52-29 in their recent non-league bout against Mackinac Island (Mackinac Island, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Nah Tah Wahsh (Wilson, MI) in a Northern Lights bout, on Thursday, January 25. Munising Baptist will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 62-57 league loss to Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI).
