With the victory, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Union Grove (Gladewater, TX) to play the Lions in a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 12-12. Union Grove won 73-45 in their recent league bout against Ore City (Ore City, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, January 26. Ore City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 55-30 league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
