The Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears to 60 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Mills for a North Iowa contest on Friday, January 26. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 107-68 non-league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-1.
The Golden Bears (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Garner-Hayfield (Garner, IA). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
