Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX), 59-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Breckenridge upgrades its record to 11-15 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Eastland (Eastland, TX) to clash with the Mavericks in a 3A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, January 26. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Eastland lost 52-38 in their recent league bout against Millsap (Millsap, TX)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Brock Eagles (Brock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, January 26. Comanche will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 21-8 record after their 41-30 league win over Early (Early, TX).
