In Tuesday's league outing, the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), by a margin of 64-62.

The Wolverines (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies go into the Dulles outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Tuscarora got by Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA), 52-51, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 24. Broad Run will clash with a Pride squad coming off a 69-64 non-league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Pride record now stands at 2-12.
