Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) and the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), saw Burrell's basketball squad knock off Ligonier Valley by a tally of 68-50.

With the victory, Burrell improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Derry (Derry, PA) to play the Trojans in a WPIAL 3A 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Derry lost 55-53 in their recent league challenge against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Ligonier Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 68-21 league loss to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).
