The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans basketball team (Bushnell, IL), was overwhelmed 54-22 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL)

The Bombers now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Havana for a Prairieland battle on Friday, January 26. Macomb will battle a Ducks team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Ducks record now stands at 5-14.

The Spartans (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, ROWVA/Williamsfield trounced Knoxville (Knoxville, IL), 78-49, in a league battle.
