The Calvary Chapel Grizzlies basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Magnolia Science Academy Pirates to 39 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange County Christian for a Western contest on Friday, January 26. Calvary Chapel will battle a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.

The Pirates (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Avalon (Avalon, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Avalon triumphed over Anaheim Discovery Christian (Anaheim, CA), 60-47, in a league contest.
