Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), 74-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Monticello (Monticello, IA) to play the Panthers in a River Valley bout on Friday, January 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Monticello won 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Beckman (Dyersville, IA)

Next up, the Indians play the Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA) in a River Valley challenge, on Friday, January 26. Camanche will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 72-38 non-league win over Starmont (Arlington, IA).
